Martin Grubinger ( German: Martin Grubinger ; born May 29, 1983 , Salzburg ) is an Austrian academic musician and percussion player.

The son of Martin Grubinger Sr., also a drummer and teacher at the Mozarteum Conservatory. He studied at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz , then in Mozarteum. In his youth, he performed mainly as a performer on the marimba , becoming the finalist of international competitions in Norway and Japan. In 2000, he represented Austria at the international Eurovision Song Contest for young musicians (in 2012, during the finals of this competition in Austria, he acted as host).

He toured all over the world, including performances with pianist Wang Yujia in Beijing , Vienna, Munich , Zurich and Tel Aviv in 2016 [4] . The first performer of many works by contemporary composers, including the Concerto for percussion and orchestra by Friedrich Zerch (2009), the compositions of Avner Dorman , Anders Koppel , Rolf Wallin , Bruno Hartl .

In 2007, he was awarded the Bernstein Prize at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival , in 2010 - the Wurth Foundation Prize for young musicians.

Since 2010, she has been conducting the KlickKlack radio magazine on the Bavarian Radio together with cellist Sol Gabetta [5] .

Married to Turkish pianist Ferzan Ender from the Ender sisters duo.
