Biography
Born in the family of a rural mullah. By nationality, a Tatar, a Muslim, a peasant in the village of Bolshoi Bulbashi, Kukmorskoy volost, Kazan district, Kazan province. In 1883, a graduate of the Kulbuey Madrasah in Kazan. He went on a trip to Turkestan and Bukhara to improve his knowledge of Islamic theology. Since 1885, he served as an indicated mullah in the villages of Big Aibashi and Kulbashi of the Kazan province. From 1891 he became imam-khatyp and akhun. He was known as an educated rural mullah, deeply knowledgeable both in matters of Muslim theology and in modern politics. He was a member of the Ittifak al-Muslimin party and became known as one of the best Tatar speakers. He was engaged in agriculture, had an allotment of 4 tithes.
On February 6, 1907, he was elected to the State Duma of the 2nd convocation from the general electors of the Kazan Provincial Electoral Assembly. He joined the Muslim faction. He was not a member of the Duma commissions, and did not participate in the debate from the Duma tribune. He published deputy reports on his work in the Duma and on the ideas of the Muslim faction in the Yulduz newspaper in Kazan.
The fate and date of death is unknown.
