Kim Yu Bin ( cor. 김유빈 ; born October 4, 1988 , better known as Yubin ) is a South Korean singer and actress . Better known as a member of the Korean girl group Wonder Girls (2007-2017).

Biography
Kim Yu Bin was born on October 4, 1988 in Gwangju , South Korea [1] . She attended JungAm Elementary School and Anyang High School before moving to San Jose . In California, she studied at Leland High School . Later entered Myongji University . Fluent in native Korean and English .
Career
Pre-
Prior to debuting with Wonder Girls , Yu Bin was supposed to debut as a member of Five Girls, led by Good Entertainment, side by side with G.NA, Yui from After School, Heson from Secret, and Yang Ji Won from Spica. However, the group broke up shortly before their planned debut in 2007 due to financial problems of Good Entertainment, so all members signed a contract with other agencies.
Wonder Girls
On September 7, 2007, Yu Bin made her debut as a member of Wonder Girls . When the band released their new track, titled Tell Me, Yu Bin was introduced as the lead rapper replacing Hyena.
In addition to her role in the group, Yu Bin occasionally acted as an additional vocalist. Examples of such performances: “This Time” and “Wishing on a Star”. She also appeared in several music videos, including the debut video clip 2 PM "LABELMATE", "10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom" and "Once in a Life Time" by Shinhwa. She also appears in the singles of several different artists: Andy Lee of Shinhwa, Lee Min Woo, Kim Bum Soo, and Chun G.
Yoo Bin demonstrated her songwriting skills, one of which was performed by Kim Bom Soo “Do You Know That?”. At the same time, she personally wrote lyrics for the rap parts of some songs. In 2011, Yu Bin wrote the songs “Girls Girls,” “Me, In,” as well as “Sweet Dreams,” for Wonder Girls' second studio album, entitled “Wonder World.” She also wrote the lyrics for the Hey Boy for a mini album called Wonder Party, released June 3, 2012.
Solo Activity
Acting
Yu Bin appeared in the popular comedy “And Here He Is” on MBC. She made an official debut in her acting career in the drama "Virus", playing Lee Joon Young, a brilliant hacker and IT specialist.
TV shows
On August 17, 2015, Yu Bin confirmed that she was joining the second season of The Ugly Rap Star. Her popularity has increased due to the case of "Girl Crus". As a result, her hairstyle and makeup became very popular in South Korea.
