Magdeburg 1927

The 25th congress of the German Chess Union was held in 1927 in Magdeburg. The tournament was attended by 13 German chess players and the Austrian Rudolf Spielmann. He won first place in the keen competition with E. D. Bogolyubov. The surprise was the good performance of the veteran V. Goltsgauzen and P. List.
