In the USSR
In the USSR’s diplomatic protocol , the carcass became an integral part of the toast ceremonial. During the receptions, the high guests of the carcass were performed after the first toast to the health of the guest, if he was the head of state, as well as after each subsequent toasted toast [2] . If the delegation was headed by one of the leaders of a foreign government, then after the first toast in honor of the head of state and in response to the toast, instead of the carcass, the anthems of the guest state and the USSR were performed [3] .
