History

Date of establishment not established [by whom? ] . The farm belonged to the yurt of the village of Berezovskaya of the Ust-Medveditsky district of the Land of the Don Army (since 1870 - the Region of the Don Army ). In 1859, 85 men and 90 women lived on the farm [2] . The population of the farm was growing rapidly. According to the census of 1897, 271 men and 292 women lived on the farm, including literate: 109 men and 13 women [3] .

According to the alphabetical list of the populated areas of the Don Don Army Area of ​​1915, the farm had a farm board, a parish school, a windmill , 354 men and 366 women lived, the land allotment was 2200 dessiatins [4] .

Since 1928 - as part of the Berezovsky district of the Khopersky district (abolished in 1930) of the Lower Volga region [5] (since 1934 - the Stalingrad region , since 1936 - the Stalingrad region). The farm belonged to the Ataman village council. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of February 1, 1963 No. 741/95, the Berezovsky district was abolished, the Ataman village council was transferred to the Kotovsky district [6] [7] . In 1966 - transferred to the Danilovsky district [8]

Geography

The farm is located in the steppe, in the south of the Danilovsky district, within the Don-Medveditskaya ridge of the Volga Upland , on the right bank of the Berezovka River (the left tributary of the Bear ). The height of the center of the village is about 110 meters above sea level. In the area of ​​the farm, the right bank of the river is steeper, the left bank is more gentle. The right bank is divided by beams (Kamennaya beam) and ravines [9] . Soils - southern chernozems and chernozems solonetzic and solonchakic [10] .

By road, the distance to the district center of the village of Danilovka is 36 km, to the regional center of the city of Volgograd - 230 km. The nearest settlements: Atamanovka farm (the administrative center of the rural settlement) is located 6 km west of Rogachev, Kuvshinov farm - 7 km to the east [11] .
