List of Heroes of the Soviet Union - participants in the war in China (1937-1940)

This list contains the Heroes of the Soviet Union , who received this title according to the Decrees of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for military merits during the participation of Soviet military experts in the war of the Chinese people against Japanese aggression . On the side of the Chinese government, about 5,000 Soviet volunteers took part in the hostilities between 1937-1942. Of these, 227 people died [1] . The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded 14 of them (1 of them posthumously, his name is highlighted in gray). All of them are Air Force pilots.

The fate of the Heroes is different:
