Biography
Ernst Christian Karl Hohenlohe-Langenburgsky - the eldest son of Prince Karl Ludwig Hohenlohe-Langenburgsky and his wife Countess Amalia Henrietta Solms-Barutsky (1768-1847).
Ernst studied for three years at the University of Tübingen and Heidelberg , then joined the Württemberg army. In 1819 he became a deputy of the Württemberg class assembly. Poor health forced Ernst to abandon active social activities. He died during his stay in Baden-Baden and was buried in Langenburg.
Descendants
On February 18, 1828, Ernst of Hohenlohe-Langenburgsky married in Princess Kensington Palace Princess Theodore of Leningen , the only daughter of Emich Karl of Leningensky and his second wife, Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeldsky , the eldest uterine sister of the Queen of Great Britain Victoria .
In a marriage with Theodora Leiningenskaya were born:
