Biography
Ivan Petrovich Lobanov was born on July 21 (August 2), 1891 .
In 1918 he graduated from the evening theater studio of the KhPSRO F.F. Komissarzhevsky in Moscow. In 1919 he began his professional career. He worked in the Experimental and Heroic Theater under the direction of Boris Ferdinandov , in the workshops of Meyerhold , the Romanesque Theater.
From 1928 until the end of his life he worked at the Kalinin Drama Theater (now the Tver Regional Academic Drama Theater .
In 1941, during the Great Patriotic War, he commanded a militia detachment formed from theater workers.
He was a deputy of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR (1951-1959), the Kalinin Regional Council of Workers' Deputies (1947-1955), and chairman of the regional branch of the WTO (1953-1968).
He died on April 12, 1969, was buried in Kalinin (now Tver ) at the May Day cemetery.
