Sinastric astrology (synastry, astrological compatibility) is a section in astrology and an appropriate technique for assessing the compatibility of people, based on a comparison of their horoscopes [1] . The theory of astrological compatibility has no scientific confirmation .
Traditionally, an astrological compatibility check is performed by analyzing the relationships ( aspects ) between the planets, the Sun and the Moon in the natal charts of two people (love couple, work partners, parent and child, and so on) [2] . In modern popular astrology, the simplified idea that love compatibility depends on the zodiacal position of the Sun of each partner has become most widespread [1] . Scientific studies conducted in 1998, 2004 and 2007, based on a total of 27 million pairs, disprove the existence of any connection between compatibility and the solar zodiac signs of partners [3] .
Astrologers have used the synastry in their practice since ancient times, it is mentioned in Ptolemy 's Tetrabiblos , and marriage compatibility analysis has long been practiced in jyotish . Synastric astrology was used in its practice by the founder of analytical psychology, Carl Jung [2] .
