Geely Emgrand X7 is a compact crossover manufactured by the Chinese company Geely Automobile since 2011. The car was first shown at the Guangzhou Motor Show . Since 2013, it has been assembling at the Belji plant in Belarus (Sales began the same year in Belarus and Ukraine ; before that, the crossover was shown at the Motor Show [2] ), in 2014 it was also planned to open a car factory in Ukraine in Kremenchug [3] , where the car was one of the ten best-selling cars [4] , as well as in Kazakhstan [5] .

In Russia, the X7 was first introduced in 2012 at the Moscow Motor Show . It is one of the most popular crossovers [6] .

Features
The car is available with three atmospheric gasoline engines of 1.8, 2.0 and 2.4 liters. All engines meet Euro-5 standard. Does not have a plug-in four-wheel drive . Gearboxes 2 - 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic (torque converter).

In the basic (Standart) configuration, the X7 has ESP , frontal airbags , ABS , electric windows and mirrors, heated front seats, air conditioning . In the middle (Comfort) - leather seats, parking sensors, climate control, alloy wheels and four-wheel drive [7] .
Restyling
In 2014, the car survived facelift - the appearance of the X7 was slightly changed. An updated model was presented at the Beijing Auto Show in April of that year [8] . Since the fall of 2014, the new X7 began to be sold in Russia (and without all-wheel drive) [9] .
Another restyling took place in 2016: the exterior (in particular optics, bumpers) and the interior (dashboard) also slightly changed [6] .
In 2018, Russia plans to release the updated Emgrand X7. The changes will affect the design, as well as a number of technical improvements: an independent multi-link suspension, a new exchange rate stability system, a 9-inch screen media system.
