Biography
Sofia Frederic is the daughter of Prince Karl Anselm Thurn-i-Taxis and his wife Augusta Elizabeth of Württemberg , daughter of the Duke of Karl Alexander Württemberg and Maria Augusta Thurn-i-Taxis . December 31, 1775 in Regensburg married Prince Jerome Vincent Radziwill . The spouses gave birth to four children, including Dominic Jerome Radziwill .
Sophia Frederic became famous for her affair with composer and pianist Jan Dusik , who since 1782 served as bandmaster with her elder brother, Muse, Prince Karol Stanislav Radziwill in the family palace in Nesvizh . On January 17, 1784, Sophia Frideric fled with Dusik across the Prussian border to Tilsit , and from there the lovers moved to Hamburg . From there, the princess returned to Regensburg alone and reconciled with her husband. Sophia Frederic for the second time married in 1795 to a certain Casanovsky, the third time in 1797 - to Count Ostrog.
