After World War II, she worked at the Sudak state farm, Sudak District. She participated in the state farm movement of “one-hectares”, which involved servicing one hectare of vineyard by one worker during the annual cycle of work [1] . Later she headed the link for growing grapes.
In 1954, Vera Sandetova’s link exceeded the plan, collecting on average about 200 quintals of grapes from each hectare. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 22, 1955, she was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Hammer and Sickle Medal.
Died in 1967.
