Biography

He started skiing in the village of Vinzili, Tyumen Region, with coach Vera Leonidovna Kopnina. Since 2008, he has been involved in biathlon in Tyumen , and since 2013, in Khanty-Mansiysk under the leadership of Valery Pavlovich Zakharov and Sergey Alexandrovich Altukhov.

In junior age, he did not participate in high-level international competitions. At the championship level of Russia, he became the winner (2012, super sprint) and the winner (relay race, 2011).

At the 2014 Russian Championship, he became the silver medalist in the patrol race. The following year he won the championship title in super sprint and relay race and became the second in the patrol race. In 2016, he became the champion in the relay and the bronze medalist in the individual race. At the Russian Biathlon Championship 2017 - silver medalist in the pursuit. Russian champion in summer biathlon 2016 in the relay [1] .

Participates in the IBU Cup since the 2015/16 season. In the debut sprint race in Idra, he took 32nd place and scored his first points to offset the tournament. The best result at the IBU Cup level in personal appearances is fourth in the sprint at the Val Martello stage in the 2015/16 season. Twice became the winner of the IBU Cup mixed relay races.

He participated in the 2016 European Championships in Tyumen , but did not rise above 35th place.

He graduated from the Tyumen State University Institute of Physical Culture.

December 29, 2018 he won the individual race at the Izhevsk rifle [2] and for the first time joined the Russian team at the 2018/2019 World Cup [3] .

He made his World Cup debut in the Oberhof sprint race on January 11, 2019.
