Description

Body length from 9 to 10 mm. Flagellum of females consists of 41–43 segments. Antennal grooves rise dorsally. The inner edges of the eyes bear an ornament in the form of a deep cutout opposite the base of the antennae. The mirror of the front wing is large and the 2nd return vein departs from its middle. Propodeum longer elongated. Abdominal segments laterally compressed, reddish-black. The mandibular palps are 5-segmented, the lower labial palps are composed of 4 segments. Presumably, like other species, a kind of parasite on the caterpillars of butterflies [1] [2] . The species was first described in 1972 by German entomologist Rolf Hinz ( Rolf Hinz , Einbeck , Germany ) based on materials from Dnepropetrovsk collected by him on September 8, 1941 [3] , and its validity was confirmed during an audit conducted in 2009 by German hymenopterologist Professor Klaus Horstmann (1938–2013; Dr. Klaus Horstmann , Lehrstuhl Zoologie III, Biozentrum, Würzburg , Germany ) [1] [2] [4] .
