Larry Smith ( born Larry Smith ; genus. London , England ) - English cameraman and filmmaker. He is a member of the British Society of Cameramen ^[1] .

Biography

Born in London, England . His first work in the cinema was the film “ Barry Lyndon ” (1975), directed by Stanley Kubrick , in which he worked as the main illuminator. In the same capacity, he performed on the set of the film "The Shining ", released in 1980. The latest debut of Stanley Kubrick's 1999 Eyes Wide Eyes became the camera debut of Larry Smith. Known for working with filmmakers Nicholas Winding Refn , John Michael McDonagh and Tom Hooper . In a documentary, Kubrick Remembered (2014) played himself ^[2] . He made his debut as a director on the set of the film Trafficker , where he also acted as an operator, screenwriter and producer. ^[3]
