He began to work from the age of 16. He participated in the Great Patriotic War, after which he worked as a field farmer at the state farm named after 10 years of the BSSR of the Lyuban district. Since 1947 he headed the field link.
In 1947, the link of Fedor Savchik collected an average of 180 pounds of rye per hectare. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 24, 1948, he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ."
Died in 1975.
