Ship Description
"Torneo" was a sailing wooden biscuit. The vessel was 22 meters long, 6.9 meters wide and 3.4 meters draft. As artillery weapons on the ship were installed 14 guns [1] [2] .
Service History
The Torneo Gallet was laid down in the Main Admiralty of St. Petersburg on March 10 ( 22 ), 1810 , and after launching on July 19 ( 31 ), 1810 , it became part of the Baltic Fleet of Russia. The construction was carried out by the ship master G. S. Isakov [1] [2] [3] .
In 1811, biscuits stood at the Peterhof raid . In 1812, it was corrected and redone by the master of the ship I.V. Kurepanov . In 1812 and 1813 he was with the rowing fleet , but did not take part in the hostilities. In 1814 and 1817 he sailed between St. Petersburg and Kronstadt . From July 26 to August 16 ( 28 ), 1820 , under the flag of the Minister of the Sea, Admiral Marquis I.I. de Traverse sailed to the Gulf of Finland with the aim of inspecting ports [1] [4] .
The galette was dismantled at Kronstadt in 1825 [1] [2] .
