Schaffhouse-près-Seltz ) - a commune in the north-east of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardenne - Lorraine ), department of the Lower Rhine , district of Agno-Wissambour , canton Wissambour [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Seltz ( Wisambur County).

Economy
In 2010, out of 403 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 316 were economically active , 87 inactive (activity indicator 78.4%, in 1999 - 74.2%). Of the 316 active able-bodied residents, 296 people worked (167 men and 129 women), 20 were unemployed (8 men and 12 women). Among 87 able-bodied inactive citizens, 38 were pupils or students , 22 - pensioners , and another 27 - were inactive for other reasons [9] [10] .
