Geography
The village is located 33 km southeast of the district center (taking into account transport accessibility) [2] , at an altitude of 525 m above sea level [3] , on the Kamenka River (Noty) [4] .
Consists of 2 streets: Central and School [5] .
Name Origin
The name Kerbulak comes from the Buryat haer , haere - “steppe”, “open space” and bulag - “key”, “spring” (spring flowing along the steppe, open space) [6] .
History
In 1874, Kerbulak ulus, where there were 14 inhabitants. By 1883, the population of the ulus was 29 people [4] .
