Geography
The village is located 17 km north-west from the center of the settlement of the village of Rozhdestveno and 47 km north-west from the district center of Sobinka .
History
The church in the village was built for the first time in 1661 and consecrated in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord; this church was wooden and cold; In 1711, a warm, wooden church with a throne was built in honor of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. In 1779, instead of the wooden Church of the Intercession, the landowner Ekaterina Ivanovna Savyolova built a stone church in the village, which was consecrated in remembrance of the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles; Chapels were built in it: in honor of the Protection of the Virgin and in the name of the Holy Prophet Elijah. In 1855, this church was expanded and a warm chapel was built in it in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord; the wooden Transfiguration Church was abolished. In this form, the church exists in the present. The bell tower and the fence at the church are stone. In 1896, the parish consisted of: the village of Spasskoe and the villages: Toporishchevo, Lapushenki, Tyurikino, Mezhniki, Vasilki, Kuritsino, Dashki, Novoe, Piskutino , Matrenino, Prokoshiha and Rogue. In the late XIX - early XX century, the village was the center of the Spasskaya parish, Yuryevsk district .
Since 1929, the village has been the center of the Spassky Village Council of the Yuryev-Polsky District , since 1935 - the Nebylovsky District , since 1965 the village has been part of the Fetininsky Village Council of the Sobinsky District .
