Sergei Evgenievich Korepanov (born January 6, 1948 , Naryan-Mar , Nenets Autonomous District ) is a Russian statesman and politician, Chairman of the Tyumen Oblast Duma of the second, third, fourth and fifth convocations (since 2016 ).

Biography
- Since 1969 - After graduating from the Riga Civil Aviation School of Aviation, he worked as a radio engineer in the Salekhard Joint Aircraft Unit.
- Since 1973 - at the Komsomol and party work.
- In 1976 he graduated from the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers with a degree in radio engineering.
- In 1984-1989 - First Secretary of the Shuryshkarsky District Committee of the CPSU.
- In 1989-1991 - First Secretary of the Yamal-Nenets District Committee of the CPSU.
- In 1991-1993 - Deputy trust manager of Nadymgazstroy and Yamalstroygazdobycha, Production Association Nadymgazprom.
- Since June 1993, he headed the representative office of RAO Gazprom in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
- In December 1993, he was elected to the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the first convocation. He was a member of the Committee on the Affairs of the North and Small Nations.
- In June 1996, he was elected as a deputy of the State Duma of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and later as its chairman. In January 1996, he joined the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the second convocation.
- December 14, 1997, elected to the Tyumen Regional Duma from the district. At the first session of the regional parliament in January 1998, deputies elected Korepanov as chairman of the Duma of the Tyumen region.
- In 1998-2000 He was a member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, was a member of the Committee on Federation Affairs, the Federal Treaty and Regional Policy.
- In 2000 he graduated from the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation with a degree in law.
