Biography
Born in 1943 in the village of Lebyazhye, Egorievsky District, Altai Territory . [3] The early years of the artist took place in St. Petersburg and Vyborg . [4] In 1961, Trofimov graduated from the Leningrad Art and Pedagogical College . [3] Since 1963 he lives and works in the city of Int . Engaged in teaching activities.
Creativity
His favorite techniques are watercolors , graphics (pencil sketches). Works primarily in the landscape genre. The artist traveled a lot in the Subpolar region , the restrained nature of which became the main theme of his work. Among the works are also urban and architectural landscapes dedicated to both the native Inta , who has become an artist, and other cities of Russia.
Since 1967, participates in republican art exhibitions, where more than 1000 of his works were presented. The works were also presented in Bulgaria, Finland.
The artist’s works are stored in the collections of the National Gallery of the Republic of Komi , Intinsky Museum of Local Lore, in private collections. [3]
