Proskurino is a village in the Buzuluk district of the Orenburg region of Russia. It is part of the municipality of the rural settlement Proskurinsky village council . Located on the banks of the Domashka river. The population is 662 [1] people.

It was founded in 1779 by the landowner Myaskov and was called accordingly - Myaskovka . In honor of the new owner Alexander Mineevich Denisov was renamed Denisovka . The settlers were peasants from Kharkov , Voronezh and Kursk provinces. The latter name also bears the name of the owner - the landowner Proskurin.
