Artsvik Borikovna Harutyunyan (born October 21, 1984, Kapan , Armenian SSR , USSR ) is an Armenian and Russian singer, a participant in the 2nd season of the Voice show. On December 24, 2016 she was chosen as the representative of Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 [1] [2] , in which she took 18th place.

Early years
Artsvik Harutyunyan was born on October 21, 1984 in Armenia. When Artsvik was 5 years old, her family moved to Moscow. After leaving school with a mathematical bias, Artsvik decides to continue his education at the Moscow State Pedagogical University, specializing in speech therapist psychologist. In parallel with this, Artsvik is trying to realize its potential in various fields of activity, and, as a result, the music wins.
Career
Already in childhood, Artsvik's musical abilities aroused surprise and admiration of those around him. However, the defining moment in the realization that her future will be undeniably connected with music is the 1992 film The Bodyguard and the acquaintance with the work of Whitney Houston .
Only many years later, Artsvik takes courage to try his hand at the musical field. Making a wish on New Year's Eve, she makes the final decision to engage in vocal creativity and boldly rushes to the active implementation of creative plans.
In 2012, Artsvik became a member of the Jazz Parking project. In the same year, she successfully performed in the Russian version of the international project ,, Voice. ''
In a short time, the singer becomes widely known both in Russia and in Armenia. The turbulent creative process obliges Artsvik to present its viewers with new performances, both of folk songs (“Դու իմ մուսան ես”, ‹rature Թամամ աշխարհ ››, ‹rature Արի, արի ››), and variety works (“Why”, “No fear ”,“ I Say Yes ”,“ Sisters in the Spirit ”). The singer actively participates in concerts and music festivals in various cities of Russia and Armenia.
Despite the fact that Artsvik has always maintained a close relationship with her homeland, it was in 2016 that she decided to return to Armenia and became a member of the Pan-Armenian musical project of Channel One, Depi Evratesil. '' The singer always dreamed of representing Armenia at the European competition and got this opportunity thanks to her victory in the project. In the process of participating in the project, Artsvik, having earned the highest marks from the jury and the audience, achieved the opportunity to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. While participating in the project, Artsvik was helped and supported by the team leader, participant of the Eurovision-2015 contest Esai Altunyan.
