Career
Active sports career spent in the Tula branch of the Armed Forces.
Bronze medalist of the 1995 World Championship in the category up to 108 kg. By the sum of two movements, Sergey gained 405 kg.
At the European Championship in 1995 with a sum of 400 kg won the bronze medal.
At the 1996 Olympics, he took 185 kg in a snatch, but in the jerk he could not cope with a weight of 220 kg and received a “wheel”.
Participated in the World Championships in 1999 , where he took 8th place in the category over 105 kg. In 1998, he complied with the regulations of the master of sports of international class and powerlifting .
