Biography
Born into a peasant family.
In 1945 he graduated from high school and entered the Leningrad Vocational School, after which in 1947 he received the qualification of fitters. In 1947, he began working in the Installation Department of the Tsentrsantekhmontazh Trust.
In 1948, he was sent as a member of the 11th Installation Department of the Soyuzprommontazh trust to the city of Chelyabinsk-40 at the Mayak plant , where he began working as a fitter-installer of reactor plants, took part in the installation of reactors, installation of reactor cooling systems and other technological systems at factories No. 20, 25 and 37.
In 1952 he was transferred to the factory No. 24 of the Mayak plant by the operator, and later as the foreman of the central hall operators. During this period, with his participation, the factory successfully solved the problem of overheating and destruction of the protective shell of individual working blocks. The shift team performed up to eight operations. For conscientious work, he was repeatedly awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts (he was awarded a personalized camera).
In 1962 he was transferred to the Installation Department of the Centrenergomontazh Trust for the construction of the Novovoronezh NPP . He participated in the installation, commissioning and operation of all five blocks of a nuclear power plant. (And he took part in the launch of nine units of the nuclear power plant.).
He is the author of 92 rationalization proposals, of which 83 have been implemented, including "Telescopic capture for the remote transportation of spent fuel cartridges."
As a highly qualified specialist in 1976-1979 he took part in the launch of nuclear power plants in Finland.
Since 1990, retired.
