Biography
Born and raised in the city of Dobryanka (Perm Territory), there he began to engage in biathlon under the guidance of a Dobryansky coach, USSR master of sports Vladislav Vlasov. He played for the Dobryansk Youth Sports School, the Children and Youth Sports School named after A. Elizarov ( Pushkino ), represented the Moscow Region and the Perm Krai at the same time. In 2009, he won the individual race at the Russian Championship among athletes under 26 years old, the competition was qualifying for a trip to the European Championship [1] .
He became the champion of Russia in 2009 in the relay race as part of the team of the Perm Territory and the Ulyanovsk Region [2] . In 2010, he won the bronze medal of the national championship in the relay, and in 2011 he won three medals - silver in the team race and super sprint and bronze in the mass start. He also became the champion [3] and prize-winner of the Russian championship in summer biathlon [4] .
He was called up for the Russian national team in 2009. He participated in the 2009 European Championships in Ufa , where he became the 19th in the individual race, and won the bronze medal in the relay with Anton Shipulin , Alexander Shreider and Viktor Vasiliev .
In 2012, he completed his sports career and switched to coaching. He did not work long with the team of the Moscow region, then for three years he worked with the juniors of the Russian team. In 2016, he was appointed one of the two senior coaches of the Russian women's team, together with Valery Medvedtsev [5] .
