Geography

The village is located on the banks of the Ulovka river ( Klyazma basin) 5 km southeast of the center of the village of Pavlovskoye and 14 km southeast of the district center of the city of Suzdal .

History

There is no historical information about this village. The stone church, with the same bell tower, was built in 1796 by the zeal of parishioners. There are three thrones in it: in the present - in the name of the prophet Elijah, in a meal - in the name of the Protection of the Mother of God and the Archangel Michael. In 1896, there were 103 households, 309 male and 334 female souls in the village [2] .

In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Gorodishchevsky volost of the Suzdal district .

Since 1929, the village was part of the Pavlovsky village council of the Suzdal region .
