Cameo (from the English cameo MFA [ˈkæmioʊ] , from the old French camaieu ), “ cameo ” - the role is usually episodic (on the movie screen [1] [2] , in theatrical production, broadcast, video game , etc.), which uses a well-known and easily recognizable image (of a director , actor , politician , etc. - either without announcement, or with the announcement of his name).
The literal meaning of the English word “cameo” (cameo) is “ cameo ”, “carving, though tiny, but on a precious stone.” “Cameo” in the figurative sense means "a small role that stands out from the rest of the small acting roles."
