Ergographer ( from the Greek. Érgon - work and ... count - I write [1] ) - a medical device that serves to determine the dynamics of the performance of muscles and record this information [2] . Ergografy divided into the finger, wrist, stanovy, foot, eye, etc., and, depending on the muscle groups in need of such a diagnosis, use the appropriate [3] .
The first ergograph was invented by the Italian physiologist Angelo Mosso in the second half of the 19th century [4] . On the pages of the Brockhaus and Efron Encyclopedic Dictionary , the principle of its work is described as follows: “The arm to the elbow is fixed on a fixed basis and only the middle finger is left free; the subject makes a series of movements (contractions) with this finger. The number of movements and their change from fatigue is recorded by a special device under E. "The Mosso apparatus was used both for psycho-physiological and pharmacological observations (the effect of drugs, food, etc. on the muscular system) [5] .
As a rule, an ergograph test is conducted until fatigue appears, which is manifested by a decrease in the amplitude of the patient's muscle movements [3] .
This device is also used by physicians to assess the effect of various external factors on human performance [3] .
