Aposchists

Aposkhists in the book Benešević V.N. Ancient Slavic pilot of the XIV titles without interpretation. St. Petersburg, 1907. T. 1.

Aposkhists ( dr. Greek ἀποσχίσται from dr. Greek ἀπο-σχίζω - “to chip, tear, separate ”; dr. ѿѿьргъъъѧшихѧ док ) or Doksarii ( other Greek. δοξάριοι from other Greek. δόξα - " glory "; other. Slavs ) - heretics mentioned among the heresies in the book “On the Hundred Heresy in Brief” by John Damaskin , in various editions as 103 heresies. The Aposchists were not described in the original work of John of Damascus, but were later added to the book by an anonymous copyist.

The Aposkhists had similarities with autoprojects . They as autoprojects separated from the Church under the plausible pretext of following the canons . The aposhists in their religious community did not have either bishops or primates of the people, but only some lay people . According to the teachings of the Aposchists, ascetics should not pray in churches during public services, but should be content with their prayers in cells . The author accuses the Aposchists of pretending to be accurate (discipline), trying to show themselves better before each other; some of the aposhists do not receive baptism and do not participate in communion ; others do not honor the recently made cross or icon-painting. According to the author, the Doxarians consider themselves superior to all people; and the most important evil of the Aposchists is that they do not accept the priesthood.
