Biography
He was a theater director. In 1935 he made his debut as a film director ( One-Way Ticket ). In 1947, along with a number of other Hollywood activists, he was accused by the Commission for the investigation of anti-American activity in subversive activities, imprisoned, blacklisted and expelled from Hollywood.
In 1930, married actress Gail Sondergard .
In 2001, in the movie “One of the Hollywood Top Ten,” Jeff Goldblum embodied the image of Bieberman on the screen.
