Club career

Manne began his career as a football player at the age of 14 at the Gambia Championship Club Steve Biko . In 2010, he came to the United States and joined the youth team Texas Rush [2] , in 23 games for which he scored 35 times in the youth league US Soccer Development Academy in the 2010/11 season. In the next season of this league, he scored 21 goals in 16 games as part of the Lonestar SK team. In 2012, he played for the Austin Aztex club from the Premier Development League , the fourth US division level, where it scored 10 goals in 12 matches [3] .

In January 2013, Manne signed a contract with MLS for the Generation Adidas program and got the opportunity to participate in the draft [4] . On January 17, at the MLS Superdraft 2013, he was selected under the general fourth number by the Vancouver Whitecaps club [3] . For the Canadian club in official games, Manne made his debut on March 3 in the match of the first round of the MLS 2013 season against Toronto , leaving the starting lineup and playing the time [5] . He opened his score to goals in the league on April 27, 2013, hitting the gates of Dallas [6] . On October 9, 2013, in the match against the Seattle Sounders , the 18-year-old Manne distinguished himself three times, becoming the youngest hat-trick author in the history of MLS [7] .

On March 30, 2017, Manne was exchanged at Columbus Crew for Tony Chani and $ 225 thousand of targeted and $ 75 thousand of fixed distribution facilities [8] . For Crew, he made his debut on April 29 in a match against New York City , substituting in the 81st minute instead of Ethan Finlay [9] . He scored the first goal for Cru at the Montreal Impact goal on June 24 [10] . After the season ended, Manne's contract expired and he was offered a new contract [11] . However, the player preferred to try his strength abroad, having left for viewing in the Second Bundesliga club “ Union Berlin ” [12] .

On December 26, 2017, Manne signed a contract with the club of the Mexican Pachuca Championship [13] [14] . For his new club, he made his debut on January 16, 2018 in the Clausura Mexico Cup match against Atletico San Luis . He spent only eight minutes in the MX League - in the match against Toluca on March 3, 2018.

In June 2018, Mann joined the club of the Swiss championship St. Gallen [15] [16] . His European debut took place on August 19 in the Swiss Cup match against the Huersdorf team. In the Swiss Super League, he made his debut on September 2 in a match against Xamax .

On February 13, 2019, Manne transferred from St. Gallen to Cincinnati on a free transfer, but Cincinnati paid $ 250 thousand in trust and $ 50 thousand in fixed distribution funds for rights to it at Cincinnati [17] . For the newly formed MLS franchise, he made his debut in her first official match, in the duel of the first round of the season 2019 against the Seattle Sounders on March 2, in which he replaced in the second half instead of Korben Bone [18] .

International Career

Back in 2015, Manne expressed his desire to play for the US team after receiving American citizenship, as was supposed, in September 2016 [19] . On January 5, 2017, Manne was invited to the training camp of the American team on the eve of friendly matches with the national teams of Serbia on January 29 and Jamaica on February 3 [20] . At the time of the call, he was not yet a US citizen, becoming him only during his stay in the camp [21] . On January 23, he left the training camp, because all the documents were not fully completed, and he could not yet speak for the Americans [22] [23] [24] . On March 18, 2018, Manne was called up to the U.S. team for a friendly match with the Paraguayan national team on March 27 [25] , but was not included in the application for the game [26] .
