Ivan G. Postoronko (born November 14, 1929 , Saturday ) is a Soviet party leader, 1st secretary of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine. Candidate for membership in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine in 1985-1990. People's Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1989-1991.

Biography
He was born on November 14, 1929 in the village of Subbottsy (now Znamensky district of the Kirovograd region).
He began his career in 1945 as a trainee of the driver of the Kirovograd regional power station. From 1946 to 1950 - a student at the Kirovograd College of Agricultural Engineering.
In 1955 he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute.
In 1955-1959 - a mechanic of a mine; head of the power plant; Deputy Head, Head of the Production Planning and Production and Technical Departments of the Solotvinsky Salt Mine of the Transcarpathian Region.
Member of the CPSU since 1959.
In 1959 - 1962 - head of the mining department of the oil and chemical industry, chief engineer of the industrial building materials department of the Stanislavsky economic council.
In 1962 - 1965 - Deputy Secretary of the Kalush Industrial-Production Party Committee of the Communist Party of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region.
In 1965 - 1979 - 2nd Secretary, 1st Secretary of the Kalush District Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine; 1st Secretary of the Kalush city committee of the Communist Party of Ivano-Frankivsk region. He graduated from the correspondence Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU.
In October 1979 - June 1983 - 1st Secretary of the Kolomyia City Committee of the Communist Party of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region.
In June 1983 - December 1985 - Secretary of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
In December 1985 - February 9, 1990 - 1st Secretary of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
Since 1990 - a personal pensioner, lived in the city of Kiev.
