Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Nerl River (a tributary of the Klyazma River ) 6 km east of the district center of the city of Suzdal .

History
Objects of ancient Russian retinue culture were discovered near the village, including a scan-and-grain suspension of the nest type [8] .
The stone church in Novoselka, in honor of the Resurrection of Christ, with a warm chapel in the name of the holy noble princes Boris and Gleb, was built in 1795 by the zeal of the parishioners; the bell tower and the fence are stone.
According to the statistics of 1859, there are 41 yards, 127 males and 138 females in the village [9] . In 1896, there were 83 yards, 155 male souls and 171 female souls in the village [10] . In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Gorodischevsky volost of the Suzdal district .
Since 1929, the village was part of the Glebovsky village council of the Suzdal region , since 1965 - the Seletsky village council .
Attractions
The monument of Russian architecture of the second half of the 18th century is an Orthodox church In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, in memory of His Glorious Resurrection . Built in the style of provincial baroque; a double-decker quadrangle, covered with a dome vault with a cupola, with a five-sided apse, a small refectory connected to the bell tower under the tent-pipe. In Soviet times, the temple was closed and for a long time was in disrepair, and after renovation in 2015 , the two-princely Church of the Resurrection was returned to believers - it is again operational.

- Sokolsky Mikhail Gerasimovich (1829 - 1890) - graduate of the Vladimir Theological Seminary , archpriest ; Knight of the Order of St. Anne of the 3rd degree (1872); priest of the Tikhvin Church of the village of Svetikovo, Suzdal Uyezd (1858 - 1890) [11] .
