Prince Efim or Yakim (Joachim) Bogushevich Koretsky (died 1612 ) - representative of the Koretsky clan, Polish magnate of the end of the 16th century , Volyn voevodich. The younger son of the commander of the Volyn prince Bogush Fedorovich Koretsky (c. 1510 - 1576 ) and Maria Vasilyevna Chaplich, the father of Samuel Koretsky .

Biography
In 1576, after the death of his father, Bogush Joachim (Efim) inherited the tribal possessions of the Koretsky family. Having accepted the union , together with his wife Anna (the sister of the great Lithuanian hetman Jan Karol Chodkiewicz ), he forced his serfs to go to Uniates and acted to the detriment of the Orthodox monasteries. From 1596 to 1602, the case of Koretsky with the Pechersk Monastery lasted: the servants of Koretsky robbed the monastic peasants, took away property and occupied land. In 1598, the Koretsky spouses ransacked the monastic town of Khotov, set up a monastery courtyard and caused a loss of up to 40 thousand zlotys. Thanks to the efforts of the famous archimandrite Nikifor Tura , who drew Prince Constantine Ostrogsky to his side, the case was decided by King Sigismund III in favor of the monastery, despite all Koretsky’s convolutions.

He was married to Anna Khodkevich (died 1626 ), the daughter of the general manager of the Samgeit and Kastellyan of Vilna, Jan Hieronymus Chodkiewicz ( 1537 - 1579 ) from his marriage with Kristina Zborovskaya (died 1588 ). Children:
