Khovrino II - the passenger railway platform under construction of the Leningrad direction of the main passage of the October Railway . It is planned to be built on the existing Khovrino - Khimki stage near the Khovrino station of the Zamoskvoretskaya line of the Moscow metro . Presumably, the Khovrino II platform will become an integral part of a large transport interchange hub [2] .

The construction of the platform was officially announced for the first time on February 8, 2016 [3] .
Postponement
In August 2017, the head of the Department of Transport, Marat Khusnullin, said that the construction of the station together with the other TPU elements could be completed by mid- 2018 [4] .
In November 2017, Khusnullin said that the station began to be designed, and it is supposed to open it in 2019 due to difficult soils [5] .
In January 2019, the same official told reporters that the construction of a new station is planned to be completed in late 2020 - early 2021 [6] .
