History

Klementyevo was the patrimony of the Moscow Novodevichy Convent , which Prince Mikhail Kubensky donated to this village, this can be seen from the “tsar’s bestowed criminal record certificate to the Moscow Novodevichy Convent of 1662 on April 2,” which says: “In the Vladimir district, in the Opolsky camp, the village of Klementyevsky with villages, and this village was given by Prince Mikhail Kubenskaya. ”In 1796, instead of the dilapidated wooden Church of Nicholas, a stone church was built in the village of Klementyevo - in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord, with a limit in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker ; but in 1807 the main throne was renamed at the request of the parishioners, in honor of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, and a second limit was set up - in honor of the Archangel Michael of God. The bell tower is also stone, built in 1882 by parishioners. In 1893, the parish was 106 yards, the village of Empty Yaroslavl, the village of Teremets and the village of Podvyazye. All courtyards in the parish are 193 [2] .

Since 1929, the village was the center of the Klementyevsky village council of the Stavrovsky district , from 1935 to 1945 the Nebylovsky district , from 1965 the Suzdal district .
