Biography
Born in 1932 in a peasant family in the village of Kozlovichi. After the war he worked as a shepherd in the local collective farm. Since 1951, he served in the Soviet Army as part of a group of Soviet troops in Germany. In 1954, after returning from the army, he returned to his native village, where he began working as a field farmer on the Kirov collective farm in the Slutsk district. He graduated from the courses of tractor drivers at the school of agricultural mechanization in the village Polozhevichi (today - Slutsk State Agricultural Professional Lyceum) [1] . Later he was appointed as a mechanized link for growing sugar beets and potatoes.
In 1974, the link under the leadership of Ivan Sinegub collected an average of 350 centners of potatoes per hectare. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated February 10, 1975, for outstanding labor success in fulfilling the tasks of the Ninth Five-Year Plan for increasing the production of agricultural products and animal husbandry, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle and Hammer gold medal.
After retirement he lived in his native village, where he died in 2005.
