Biography

She was born in 1924 in the village of Krasny Yar of the Barnaul district of the Altai province (now Klyuchevsky district of the Altai Territory ) in a peasant family. Maiden name - Kofanova .

After graduating from incomplete secondary school in 1941, she joined the local collective farm named after Chkalov and during the war years led the field-crop Komsomol-youth brigade, which was awarded the title of “rear guards” for striking labor. At cereal processing, the team led by E.F. Kofanova became the recognized leader of socialist competition. She independently mastered the specialty of a tractor driver; according to the results of work in 1947, her link received a wheat crop of 30.12 centners per hectare on an area of ​​8 hectares [1] .

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 4, 1948, for receiving high yields of wheat and rye in 1947, Kofanova Ekaterina Filippovna was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle" [1] .

The Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, issued in the name of E. F. Kofanova, says:

“For your exceptional services to the state, expressed in obtaining in 1947 a wheat crop of 30.8 centners per hectare on an area of ​​8 hectares. The Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, by its Decree of March 4, 1948, awarded you the title of Hero of Socialist Labor ”

In 1953, Ekaterina Filippovna Mamaeva (by husband) graduated from the two-year course of collective farm chairmen in Barnaul and worked as an agronomist in the Volchikhinsky and Burlinsky districts of the Altai Territory [1] .

Member of the CPSU since 1954.

In 1960, she moved with her family to Adygea and worked as a grower and grower at the Zarya state farm in the Shovgenovsky district . Drummer of communist labor, awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor. In commemoration of the centenary of the birth of V. I. Lenin . "

She was elected as a deputy of the Klyuchevsky district and Alekseevsky rural Councils of deputies of workers, a delegate to the XI Congress of the Komsomol (April 1949) and the first conference of the World Congress of Peace Supporters (1949) [1] .

After retirement she lived in the Republic of Adygea.

She died in 2004 (?).
