ANS TV

The channel was created in 1990 with the name AZV , after independence in the Azerbaijan SSR, Vakhid Mustafayev decided to close the AZV channel and in its place launch the first independent ANS TV channel .

The channel was launched on November 26, 1991. Initially, there was one TV show on the channel - Xəbərçi, only three people worked on the transfer - the brothers Vahid and Seyfulla Mustafayev and Mirshahin Agayev, who eventually became the host of the information TV show. Beginning March 2, 1992, other television programs began to appear on the channel. The TV channel covered almost many events in Azerbaijan: the War in Nagorno-Karabakh , the Genocide in Khojaly (broadcasting was even on the front line), the resignation of Ayaz Mutalibov , the attacks and the fire in the Baku Metro , the attempted coup d'etat in the country, the mass shooting of students in AgNA . The TV channel gained immense popularity during the Karabakh war, when the correspondent Chingiz Mustafayev (1960-92) covered all the events at the front and died there on June 15, 1992. In 1992, an advertisement appeared on the TV channel and then for some time the broadcasting was temporarily suspended, a year later the broadcasting was again resumed by the decree of the new president Heydar Aliyev , the Mustafayev brothers still controlled the TV channel and soon Mirshakhin Agayev joined them from the TV presenter’s chair, who got excited about the idea to create a media holding of the same name on the basis of the channel; after some time, the same name radio was launched along with the channel. In 1994, the number of employees of the TV channel reached 30 people, and in the same year there was a conflict between this channel and AzTV , as a result of which many employees were dismissed from an independent television channel, and the television channel again temporarily suspended its work with the radio, but a little later the channel again resumed broadcasting. The year 1995 was not an easy one for the channel, when the channel had a row with the riot police , and several employees of the channel were detained. In 1996, Vakhid Mustafayev opened the first website of the channel [1] , and in the same year he signed a decree on the protection of copyright and related rights on the channel. In 1999, a dispute arose between this channel and ABA TV , the owners of the latter criticized ANS TV for showing Russian ads that hit the country's budget. On August 17, 1999, an earthquake occurred in Turkey, after which ANS TV employees sent material assistance to the Turkish government. In 2000, the sports channel was first launched on the television channel - the matches of the European Football Championship, later the European and World Championships will be shown until 2009, after which Lider TV won the license. It was not easy for the channel in 2015, when the channel was fined for showing TV shows: Salam, Azerbaijan! , You are not alone , I am looking for you and Chocolate , because the TV channel had disagreements with the NSTR company, because of which the company wrote a fine in the amount of 54,000 Azerbaijani manats to the channel. On October 13, 2015, the channel was again fined because of a violation of the law on showing commercials. On October 25, 2016, the TV channel was waiting for another fine due to the fact that during the screening of the feature film, the timing advertisement lasted 26 minutes in the amount of AZN 5,000. Earlier, the TV channel was fined several times for the same violation, the total fine amounted to 25,000 Azerbaijani manats. It was decided to reduce the broadcasting of the channel, and after an interview with the Turkish opposition member Fatullah Gulien, who was involved in the attempted coup in Turkey in mid-2016, completely shut it down, although many Azerbaijanis defended the channel, but this did not help the channel. In June 2016, the latest news release was released on ANS TV, during which the presenters and journalists said goodbye to the audience. In mid-2016, the television channel ceased to exist along with the frequency of broadcasting, and on July 18, 2016 the holding of the same name ceased to exist along with the radio channel of the same name. Thus ended the era of ANS TV. The last screen saver was the ANS TV logo, under it there was a signature Authorities closed ANS-TV! , then the image went to the tuning table. Real TV

Immediately after the closure of ANS TV , their creators began to think about launching a completely new independent television channel, which should replace the closed television channel , and finally, in January 2018, instead of ANS TV, their creators announced the launch of the new Real TV channel ^{[1] [2] [ 3]} , which began broadcasting on the Internet on February 28, 2018, Mirshakhin Agayev became the general director of the new television channel. On March 5 of the same year, a test broadcast of the television channel in Baku was launched; on March 15, 2018, a full broadcast of the television channel in Baku was launched, where Mirshahin Agaev launched his informational and analytical television program Mir Şahinin vaxtı (Vremya Mir Shahina). On September 17, 2018, Real TV switched to round-the-clock broadcasting. Starting May 10, 2019, Real TV became available throughout Azerbaijan and around the world via the Azerspace-1 satellite.
