Bruenko, Pyotr Nikolaevich

Pyotr Nikolayevich Bruenko (December 9, 1955) - Soviet biathlete , two- time USSR champion in the relay (1979) and individual race (1982). USSR master of sports of international class .

Biography

He represented the sports society " Zenith ", then - "Vanguard". He played for the city of Kiev .

In 1979 he became the champion of the USSR in the relay race as part of the national team of the Zenit society. At the 1982 national championship, held as part of the V Winter Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR , he won the individual race and became the second in the relay race as part of the Ukrainian SSR team.

After graduating from a sports career, lives in Sumy . He takes part in competitions of veterans [1] . In 2008, he was awarded the Golden Ten of Ukrainian Biathlon Prize, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of biathlon in Ukraine [2] .
