Biography
Born in s. Arsenevka Kursk region.
Member of the Great Patriotic War.
After demobilization, he worked at a coal mine in the Donbass.
In 1955, under the contract, he moved to the North to work at the Arkagaly mine administration for the position of sinker. He also mastered the specialty of the driller, mechanic, scraperist, fastener.
From 1964 he headed the team of the clearing face of the Kadykchanskaya-10 mine. He was the initiator of the introduction of the method of high-speed excavation of mine workings, which doubled the rate of penetration.
By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated June 29, 1966 "for outstanding achievements in fulfilling the tasks of the seven-year plan for the development of the coal and shale industry and the achievement of high technical and economic indicators in work" he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
From 1977 he retired, from 1980 he lived in Donetsk, from 1988 - in Magadan, where he was buried on the Walk of Fame.
He was awarded the Order of Lenin, the Labor Red Banner, medals, insignia.
