The Progressive and Just People of Islamic Iran ( Persian جمعیت پیشرفت و عدالت ایران اسلامی ) is an Iranian conservative political party whose spiritual leader is Mohammad-Bagher Galibaf .

Content
Party History
It was created in 2008 by Morteza Talay , its first general secretary, with the support of members of the Tehran municipality, including the mayor of Tehran , Mohammad-Bagher Galibaf .
2013 Iranian Presidential Election
The party nominated his candidacy in 2013 and also prepared a campaign for the presidential elections in Iran (as a result, Mohammad-Bagher lost the election with 16.46% of the vote; Hasan Rouhani , the current president of Iran , won the election).
Our time
At the moment, the party takes 15 out of 31 seats (48%) in the Tehran city council . The party’s main opponents are the Iranian reformist movement (14 out of 31, 45%) [1] .
