Name Etymology
Poseidon ( Greek mythology ) - the god of the seas, brother of Zeus , Hades , Hera , Demeter and Hestia [1] [2] .
Habitat and habitat
Asia Minor , Turkey , Iran , Georgia [3] .
Biology
It develops over the course of a year in one generation. Flight time in July-early August. Females lay eggs individually. Feed plant of Astragalus caterpillars [3] .

The species is included in the Red Book of European Day Butterflies with the SPEC3 category - a species that lives both in Europe and beyond, but is in danger of extinction in Europe.
