The village of Zhardovnik was located in the territory near the current city of Angarsk . It was destroyed for the construction of a CHPP-10 serving the city and the AECC ( Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Plant ).

At the moment, in the territory of the former village is located the ash dump of TPP-9, which, together with the Irkutsk TPP-10, provides, in addition to the Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Combine , the Angarsk Petrochemical Company and the Angarsk Polymer Plant . Also near the village was a cemetery.
