Aramil - junction railway station of the Sverdlovsk railway . Located in the village of the same name Aramil GO in the Sysert district of the Sverdlovsk region , 5 kilometers from the city of Aramil . It is located at the intersection of the Yekaterinburg - Kamensk-Uralsky line and the southern bypass of the Yekaterinburg railway. node Reshetny - Sedelnikovo - Kosulino . It is part of the Yekaterinburg center for the organization of the work of the railway stations DTSS-2 of the Sverdlovsk Directorate of Traffic Management. Content
History
Initially, the station was called Vyuhino. By order of the Ministry of Railways dated 28.04.1963 No. G-10739, the Vyuhino station of the Sverdlovsk railway was renamed Aramil station.
Infrastructure
There are two low passenger platforms: one lateral at 1 track (station 5) closest to the station building, the second at the island, between 3 and 4 tracks (I and II are main). To go through the railway the way and access to the platform there is a pedestrian bridge. At the 8th station track there are two cargo elevated platforms.
The station is adjoined by the paths of the Aramil flour mill, a cargo container site and a traction substation ECHE-232.
Passenger movement
At the station, electric trains stop from Ekaterinburg to Kamensk-Uralsky (including the high-speed Lastochka electric train).
Until 2015, operating electric trains from Yekaterinburg were operated to the Sedelnikovo station on the southern bypass (2 pairs per day) with a change of direction along the station .
Interesting Facts
Prior to renaming the station in 1963 , the name "Aramil" was carried by the current Sysert station on the Sverdlovsk-Verkhny Ufaley line, renamed by the same order of the Ministry of Railways dated April 28, 1963 No. G-10739.
