Gas Processing Plant (GPP) is an industrial enterprise that processes natural or associated gas in order to produce petrochemical products with high added value (polymers, plastics, rubbers, solvents, paints and varnishes, etc.).
GPP can also specialize in producing one valuable product, such as helium .

Flow Chart
A typical GPP scheme includes units for purification, separation, fractionation, pyrolysis and polymerization.
Raw materials
The main raw material of the gas processing plant is natural or associated gas, which contains inorganic (nitrogen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, helium) and organic (alkanes, alkenes) components, with organic predominantly prevailing.
Products
The range of products manufactured at the GPP can be quite wide and include dozens of items.
Main products:
- Base polymers
- Plastics
- Rubbers
- Sulfur (sulfuric acid)
- Helium
- Dry drained gas
- Stable gasoline
