Geography

The village is located on the banks of the Vorsha River (a tributary of the Klyazma River ) 12 km northwest of the village center of Kurilovo and 22 km northwest of the district center of Sobinka .

History

Near the village is an ancient churchyard with a church. In written ancient documents, the Sannitsa churchyard is mentioned for the first time in the letter of merit of Tsar John Vasilievich in 1504 to Metropolitan Simon , where the Sannitsa are shown by the Metropolitan estate. In the books of the patriarchal bureaucratic order, the church of the Sannits churchyard is recorded under 1628: “The Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah on a churchyard in Sannitsy, tribute 15 alt. 3 den. ”And under 1746:“ St. the prophet Elijah on a churchyard in Sannitsy, 2 rubles. 40 kopecks. " The current stone church in honor of the holy prophet of God Elijah was built by the zeal of parishioners: the refectory was warm in 1843, and the cold in 1851. At the church, the stone bell tower, instead of the old, wooden. The church and the bell tower in 1887 are surrounded by a stone fence. The parish is made up of the villages: Glukhovo , Shaplygino, Khrenovo , Kalintievo, Gavriltsevo, Novoye, Onisimovo, Nazirovo and the village of Ondiforovo , Orekhovo , Ondarovo and Semenovskoye. All the yards in the parish were 373, male souls 1136, female 1218. There was a zemstvo school in the churchyard [2] .

At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the village of Glukhovo and the Sannitsa churchyard were part of the Kochukovo volost of Vladimir district .

Since 1929, the village was the center of the Glukhovsky village council of the Stavrovsky district , and later, until 2005, it was part of the Kurilovsky village council of the Sobinsky district .

Current State

In the village are located the municipal educational institution “Glukhov elementary school - kindergarten”, a post office 601231, an agricultural enterprise of JSC “im. Zhukovsky ” [10] .

Attractions

In the village is the inactive Church of Elijah the Prophet (1843) [2] .
